I have the feeling that, at least in real estate terms, Spain is like a plane without a course, with several alarms ringing, and the pilot flirting with the flight attendants. I say this because, now, it seems that Pedro Sanchez is saying no, that a 100% tax on the value of a house for buyers residing outside the EU is not enough, and what about a total ban? If you want to devastate British residential tourism areas, these statements are a great way to do it. It’s a shame because the British have contributed a lot to the economic and social development of many parts of Spain. Anyway, here are some reactions, including mine:
